How many people know that you do this? I've always thought of it as something I'd best keep quiet for fear of having the piss mercilessly taken out of me Hazard's always known, of course. He even signed up in the old days, but failed to make a single post, but he's a wrestling fan, so understanding was more likely. Yesterday I told my girlfriend, and, God bless her, she was either quite interested or feigned it very convincingly. It was quite nice, and now she understands better why I sit for hours making banners with wrestlers in them I also have the advantage of being able to justify doing this because I'm doing a screenwriting course. Keeps me nicely in practise. I think that's about it in terms of people who properly know, aside from a couple of people from school who got me into it. But that was in like, the Attitude Era days when wrestling was super cool and they all stopped years ago. Any stories to share about this? Do your girlfriends/wives/children/parents/siblings/friends know you do this? What do they think? Do people not know? Why don't you tell them?

All of my brothers know I do this, but that's the extent of it.
I think people are too judgemental about others and that's why I don't tell any one beyond those that I can truly trust. Same with everything else in my personal life.

I've told a few people, to be fair one of the advantages of being the way I am is that no one is really shocked by anything I do. My life style various so drastically from shirt and shoes professional to roaming around in spandex body suits with a bottle of Tequila, from playing football at a decent level to watching a bucket load of anime.
To the people I have told I have explained it as a "creative" release, just a chance to have a bit of quite time and get some thought out of my head with a keyboard.

I don't tell girls, that would be silly, not until a few months down the line...
However a few of my mates know, was on whilst round one of theirs. They asked about it and seemed pretty normal about it. I think it's more because we each have our own little thing. Ranging from This, Football Manager, Building those model things from magazines. So we can't really judge each other.

I've told no one! Not even you guys know that I do this!!!
In seriousness, only a select few of my friends know that I'm involved in this and they tease me mercilessly over it at select times. Everyone else just knows that I enjoy writing and those times, like tonight when I stash myself away somewhere to crack a match or promo out, I can just explain them as sudden strikes of inspiration.

LOL, I like this thread...
Ok, most of you guys don't know me but I once joined up to make an affiliation with my own fed and XWA but my fed closed down no thanks to me having to go inactive due to exams...
Anyways to this topic. I don't hide it. If someone asks me, I say it in the coolest manner possible, like its absolutely normal and due to the way I say it, they take it like its nothing unusual. Like I'd say, its wrestling roleplaying site where you take on the role of a wrestler, like creative writing and they're like aha, because they know I am a creative guy due to my artistic doodles in lectures, lol.
My cousins however take the piss out of me as did my younger brother but he's grown out of it now because I doesn't effect me. But he would like try to piss me off by randomly talking as if he were writing a match. "He kicked him in the shins and threw him to the ground. He then elbowed him in the chest." Stuff like that, I admit it did get on my nerves but I didn't let him know that.
I don't think its anything to be ashamed off. Its a part of my life and I'm quite happy with it.
