Keri Thames: Ladies and Gentlemen, it is now time for the Main Event of XWA Revenge!
An enormous ovation from the capacity crowd filling the United Center of Chicago, Illinois answers Keri’s announcement of the match that everyone in this arena had waited all night to see. Sure, the tag team and the XWA World Heavyweight Championship matches were all great matches earlier in this evening; but the people had flocked to the United Center by the thousands to witness this final epic confrontation.
Keri Thames: The following contest is a Steel Cage match! Now the only ways to win this match are to either pin your opponent, force him to submit, or escape the cage via either the door or over the top of the cage.
A moment of anticipation builds quickly, tension rising within the arena before a torrent of hatred flows from the fans as “The Dark Spanish Symphony, 50’s Version” by Rubber City begins the introduction of the first competitor. Slowly stepping out from behind the curtain, flanked as always by Roxy Zuuko, is Johnny Valentine; The Greaser looking down at the cage-encased ring without the slightest hint of fear.
J. Pain: There he is Mark, the Hutton Brown Solution. Just look at him Mark; Johnny doesn’t seem afraid in the slightest as he makes his way toward that cage. In fact, he looks somewhat excited.
Mark Sanction: Valentine may be donning a calm face right now, but I can’t seriously believe that he isn’t afraid at least on some level. After watching Hutton turn a desperate situation into leaving both XWA Champions laying last week on Massacre, I have to believe there is some fear in his mind.
Making his way to the ring without hesitation, Valentine and Zuuko ignore the raging boos and shouts from the fans as they descend the ramp. The Blast from the Past arrives at ringside and stands in admiration of the steel cage in front of him, both a tool to be utilized and feared by all competitors who must enter it. Johnny slowly removes his leather jacket and hands it off to Roxy before removing his shades to reveal eyes cold as stone, truly not afraid of the cage itself. Perhaps however, the other competitor entering would make Valentine feel some kind of emotion.
Mark Sanction: Week after week, Johnny Valentine has done everything to bring The Rated X Superstar to his knees as part of a mutual agreement with Legion. And while Legion has slowly crumpled over the past weeks, the hatred between these two men has only grown stronger and stronger.
J. Pain: Hutton may claim he has all kinds of special moves and tricks that he plans to pull out against Valentine, but I want to know how long he thinks he can keep such a charade going? One or two new flashy moves won’t put Valentine down, that’s for sure.
Keri Thames: Accompanied to the ring by Roxy Zuuko; from Brooklyn, New York; weighing in at two hundred and forty pounds; Johnny Valentine!
After several seconds of further preparation, Johnny Valentine finally enters the cage and moves to the far side of the steel-encased ring. “The Dark Spanish Symphony” slowly diminishes as Valentine’s eyes lock upon the entrance ramp, the fans building with sudden anticipation for the arrival of The Rated X Messiah. Moments pass by, the tension building quickly before the slow opening beat of “Broken Dreams” by Shaman’s Harvest brings the fans into a frenzy of cheers, an utter ovation given to The Rated X Superstar. The lights in the arena dim as multiple spotlights flash around the arena as the song’s lyrics begin.
What’s that metronome I hear, Perhaps the end is drawing near. You never hear the shot that takes you down…
OUT OF TIME!
Mark Sanction: Here he comes Ladies and Gentlemen, The Rated X Superstar is here! Can you feel the energy in this arena now?
J. Pain: Oh I feel it alright Mark, I just don’t see what all the fuss is about. Hutton really isn’t THAT impressive of a competitor to begin with. Hell, you witnessed his match at Legends; Ciaren was the man to watch, not Hutton.
Keri Thames: And his opponent; from Manhattan, New York; weighing in at two hundred and twenty five pounds; The Rated X Superstar, Hutton Brown!
The tone of the song picks up heavily as Brown steps out from behind the curtain to a thunderous ovation from the capacity crowd, Hutton stopping at the top of the ramp. Bringing a hand up to shield his eyes from the blinding light of the arena, The Rated X Messiah looks out at the fans as he pans the arena quickly. Brown’s mood is far more serious than usual, the level of this match far greater than anyone would have expected. For this match was one of the most personal battles Hutton had, and probably would, ever fight in his entire career.
My dreams come true, I make them, I make them come true.
Mark Sanction: The intensity and technical prowess of Lion Merteuil and the reflexes and unpredictability of Johnny Valentine all wrapped into one as Hutton Brown. Can you see that combination and the potential he has to go down as one of the greatest competitors of all time?
J. Pain: I can’t say I’d go that far Mark, but I can definitely say that Hutton has become much more focused in competition of the past few weeks, especially since his defeat at Ciaren’s hands back at Legends.
Arriving at ringside and moving past the evil glare of Roxy Zuuko, Brown stops just inches before the door to the steel structure he would soon compete within. Waiting in such a position for a few moments, Hutton concludes that Valentine has no intention of rushing him before he enters the ring and promptly enters the squared circle. And thus ends the cinematics, the intensity of this match suddenly focused completely upon the action within the squared circle as “Broken Dreams” slowly fades to night. Brown and Valentine each take a step forward and Senior Referee Thomas J Tickles steps between the two to keep any pre-match sparks from flying while Referee Kirk Samson secures the cage door with a chain. A nod from Samson is all Tickles needs to step back and wave for the opening bell, intent on staying out of the way of these two competitors as they looked to utterly destroy each other.
J. Pain: And there it is Mark, the opening bell. This is quite possibly the most anticipated match XWA has held since our return to the air, and I can’t wait to see Valentine getting his hand raised at the end.
Mark Sanction: The only reason you seem to hate Hutton so badly is the fact that he is one of the few men on this roster that actually chooses to play fair. I just can’t wait to see him shut you up for once in your life when this one is all said and done.
The three symbolic quick succession chimes sound before Brown and Valentine slowly circle around the ring, Hutton quickly trying to get the fans behind him as he slaps his hands over and over again. Completely nearly a three hundred and sixty degree loop around the ring, the two competitors move in for a collar and elbow tie-up quickly; Hutton and Johnny each trying to gain a quick advantage. Neither man succeeds in doing so, only managing to swing the other around wildly before Valentine finally manages to press The Rated X Superstar back into a corner. But Brown quickly turns the tables on The Blast from the Past, swinging the lock up around just before he lands in the corner and instead presses Johnny back into the turnbuckle. Valentine escapes quickly, darting away from Brown and keeping as much distance as he can, given the cage, between himself and his foe to prevent any sudden attacks.
Mark Sanction: Now maybe it’s just me, but that definitely seems like some fear in Johnny Valentine. The cage may not scare him at all, but he seems to be at least somewhat frightful of Hutton Brown.
J. Pain: Please Mark, it’s called judging an opponent’s strength. If Hutton says he’s going to compete on another level, all Valentine has to do is discover the strengths and weaknesses of that level and the match is his.
Holding out his arms as if to ask Valentine where exactly he thought he was going, The Rated X Messiah lures Johnny back to him with his unspoken taunt. The two competitors engage in another collar and elbow tie-up, The Greaser quickly transitioning the lock up into a side headlock on Brown. Hutton struggles quickly to alleviate the pressure of Valentine’s weak hold and manages to quickly pull his head free out the back, turning the tables once again as he hooks Johnny in a side headlock. A mere step from the ropes, The Blast from the Past steps backward and sends Brown across the ring with the aid of the ropes before charging in after him. But The Rated X Superstar comes barreling off the ropes, driving Valentine hard to the canvas with a crossed arm forearm block; Brown quickly dropping after him for an early pin attempt.
ONE!
J. Pain: Is perhaps Hutton the one who is afraid Mark, going for such an early pin on Valentine. Maybe he’s afraid that he doesn’t have what it takes to beat Johnny after all?
Kicking out with ease and hurrying back to his feet, Valentine looks to catch Brown by surprise but instead is caught dead in his tracks as he nearly comes face to face with The Rated X Superstar. Taking a quick step back, Johnny shoots a glance out to Roxy at ringside, such a glance catching Brown’s eye and drawing his attention away just enough for Valentine to step forward and drive a vicious boot into Hutton’s stomach.
Mark Sanction: You want to talk about fear, just look at the cowardly tactics Valentine is having to employ to get the upper hand on Hutton here tonight.
And thus the opening is found, Valentine going to work with his specialty as he drives a vicious right hand into the exposed jaw of The Rated X Messiah. There’s some great power behind the punch indeed, the impact nearly causing Brown to spin an entire circle in place before he receives another right hand for his trouble. The second punch causes Hutton to backpedal dazed in the closest corner, free range then for a thunderous volley of right hand after right hand from The Blast from the Past. After nearly a dozen powerful punches, Valentine pulls his foe out from the corner by his hair before driving a forearm across the shoulder blades and sending Hutton to his knees in the middle of the ring.
J. Pain: There’s something to admire about a man who can nearly put you out of commission with just a few simple punches like Johnny Valentine can. It’s inspiring and scary at the same time.
Mark Sanction: I don’t know what kind of overly-masculine feelings are flowing through your veins right now, but I’ll agree with you on the scary part. Valentine hits like a vicious boxer, rather than an XWA Superstar.
Stepping forward and propelling his knee in the same direction, Johnny connects with a thunderous knee right across Hutton’s jaw; such stunning impact displayed as Brown’s head nearly bounces off the canvas. Stepping back to take a quick breather and send another glance in the direction of Roxy, this one with a smirk, Valentine advances on Hutton once again only to be caught by surprise. Showing the true intensity of a student of Lion Merteuil’s and the powerful striking power of one instructed by Johnny Valentine, Hutton fires off a powerful right hand into the midsection of Valentine himself. Pushing aside the discomfort in his jawbone, The Rated X Messiah rises quickly as the cheers from the fans grow and fires off three quick yet powerful right hands into the upper torso and jaw of The Greaser.
J. Pain: Whether Valentine actually trained him or not, Johnny seems to be actually struggling to read the moves Hutton is pulling out. Almost as if Hutton was really telling the truth…
Mark Sanction: Perhaps though, Johnny may have trained Hutton just a little too well for his own good and the student has now surpassed the master?
Driving Valentine back into the ring ropes with a four strike, a stiffening right forearm to the jaw, Brown pushes Johnny against the ropes before sending him across the squared circle with an irish whip. The Blast from the Past manages to quickly reverse the whip, holding onto his reversal for a second longer than normal as Johnny seems to attempt to toss The Rated X Superstar into the side of the steel cage. Hutton manages to retain his foot as he hits the ropes, charging quickly back at Valentine only for his foe to sudden swinging around and driving his elbow up into Brown’s jaw. The quick strike causes Hutton’s feet to go out from under him and sends The Rated X Superstar down to the canvas quickly. Pulling himself up quickly to a seated position, The Greaser doesn’t waste a second as he drives a stiff shin kick across the bridge of the nose and forces Brown back down to the mat.
Johnny Valentine: That all you got Fream?! Come on chump, that all your tricks?!
As Hutton slowly rolls over onto his stomach, Valentine takes a few moments to rub in the power behind his attacks as he slaps the back of Hutton’s head repeatedly as he taunts him. After four solid slaps, Johnny reaches down and wraps his hands around the head of The Rated X Messiah; Valentine giving Brown little time to recover as he drags his foe back to his feet.
Mark Sanction: Johnny getting rather cocky rather quickly and now might not be the time to do so. He’s been encountering some pretty tough resistance from Hutton throughout thus far.
J. Pain: Valentine has every reason to be cocky Mark. I mean to start with, Hutton has never once managed to beat Valentine in a one on one match before.
Gripping Brown by the back of the head, Johnny takes his victim in toe and charges toward the closest cage wall as Valentine tosses Hutton forward; Brown promptly eating a face full of steel. The Rated X Messiah stumbles backward only for Johnny to grasp him by the back of the head once more, The Greaser pressing Hutton’s face against the steel cage and rubbing Brown’s face against the rigged surface. After several long seconds and failing to draw blood by doing so, Valentine allows Brown to fall back into the close corner before pulling The Rated X Superstar out and whipping him diagonally across the cage-encased ring. Hutton hits the turnbuckle hard and stumbles out of the corner just in time for Johnny to drive him to the canvas once again with a powerful clothesline. Looking down at the slow moving form of Hutton Brown, Valentine begins to get a certain look in his eye. A look only seen when someone is about to take a long trip…
J. Pain: Just check the look on the face of Valentine Mark, I honestly think he wants to end this one already. Could he be thinking of sending Hutton on a long trip down…
Mark Sanction: Not a chance, not this early in the match. Or could he? That look is just like the one right before he tried to send Nicole Harper on such a devastating trip.
Turning away from the slowly rising form of Hutton Brown, Johnny doesn’t expect to be caught from behind by the very same man. Showing himself to still be quite full of fight, Hutton leaps up quickly and takes hold of Valentine by the back of his head and belt; The Rated X Messiah giving The Greaser a taste of his own medicine in return for earlier! Johnny slams against the cage wall without any resistance, dropping back to his feet on the canvas and swinging a wild right hand at his opponent. Ducking under the oncoming wild punch, Hutton comes up around behind Valentine and leaps into the air as he wraps both his arms around the jaw of The Greaser and pulls him to the canvas with the X-Attack. Brown lands upon his back before pulling himself back to a seated position and hooking Valentine’s leg for a pin.
ONE!
TWO!
Kickout!
Brown seems hardly disappointed as he pulls himself back to his feet following Valentine’s kickout, grasping Johnny around the head as he pulls The Greaser back up to his level. Yet like Hutton had already proved on a few occasions tonight, Valentine too had much more to give to this contest as he suddenly shifts his body and sends Brown face first into the close corner with a drop toe hold. Climbing back to his own vertical base and trying to shake the cobwebs while The Rated X Superstar attempts the same, Valentine steps away from his opponent to catch his breath; bitter effects from such a physical contest easily showing on both competitors. Watching carefully as Brown pulls himself around to one knee in the corner, Johnny charges in at his prey for what would have been a powerful turnbuckle clothesline had Hutton not stepped out and countered.
Mark Sanction: Such powerful back and forth action inside the steel cage is quickly taking it’s toll on each of these competitors. I honestly wonder how much longer they can manage to go on before one of them collapses.
J. Pain: With the hatred between these two Mark, neither man has any intentions to quit as long as the other is still standing. Trust me on this Sanction, this one is going to end up with one man being removed from here on a stretcher.
Driving his elbow out as Valentine charges in, Hutton catches his former mentor underneath the jaw and sends Johnny staggering away with the recoil. But The Rated X Superstar isn’t quite finished as he takes a commanding step forward and literally slaps the taste completely out of Valentine’s mouth; the vicious slap spinning Johnny around and dropping him to his knees and then chest. There is an audible groan from the fans in the first couple of rows of seats from the tremendous clash of skin as Valentine falls to the canvas, Brown staggering out from the corner still partially dazed. Stepping uncertainly around to the head of Valentine, Hutton pulls his foe up before The Blast from the Past suddenly lashes out with a knee to the midsection. Catching Brown by surprised, Johnny fires off a right hand that drops Hutton to his knees; The Rated X Messiah landing over the second rope.
J. Pain: Like I said Mark, one of these men is not going to walk out of here under his own power. There is just too much hatred crammed in a tiny area like that Steel Cage for one of them not to.
Taking a few steps back to allow himself a moments recovery, Valentine switches his gameplan quickly as he surveys the position of The Rated X Superstar. With Brown still leaning over the second rope and only beginning to stir, The Blast from the Past charges the far set of ring ropes before crossing the ring as quickly as his body will take him. Leaping into the air and pulling his knees up, Valentine connects with Victory Road against the back of Hutton Brown, driving Hutton face first into the steel cage itself! Johnny lands on his back, his trademark move bringing mild discomfort to his own legs, before he rolls over onto Hutton as he hits the canvas; Valentine hooking the leg of The Rated X Superstar as Tickles slides in for the count.
Mark Sanction: Victory Road against the steel cage! Hutton may be strong, but how can he possibly kick out of that?!
ONE!
TWO!
THR-Kickout!
J. Pain: No way, I could have sworn that Valentine had the three right there Mark. Honestly, how much can one man endure before he finally decides to just give in?
Forcing his shoulder off the canvas just in the nick of time stuns Valentine, The Greaser unable to comprehend at first how such a fream could kick out of a move he’d once utilized as his finishing maneuver. Looking at the referee with astonishment and hopping that Tickles might apologize on making a mistake, Johnny grits his teeth as the Senior Referee shows him but two fingers. Frustration setting in, Valentine hooks the leg again.
ONE!
TWO!
TH-Kickout!
An even quicker, if only just, kickout by The Rated X Messiah really gets the blood boiling within The Blast from the Past, Valentine looking up at the referee and nearly demanding that he call for the bell and declare him the victor. But Tickles refuses to be swayed by even the most threatening of looks or faces and returns to his feet, prompting Johnny to rise to his just to get in the face of the official. Some heated words fly from both competitor and unbiased official as the two men exchange their ideas on just exactly what had taken place during the first pin count, Hutton left to rot on the canvas throughout this time; simply bidding his time. With rage blurring his focus, only the shouts of Roxy Zuuko slowly begin to bring Valentine’s focus back to where it should properly be as Johnny finally pulls his attention away from Tickles and back upon the slowly rising Hutton Brown.
J. Pain: Valentine refuses to believe that Hutton managed to kick out and I’m right there with him. Frankly, Hutton shouldn’t have even been conscious following such a vicious Victory Road like that.
Mark Sanction: Regardless of whether he should have been or not, he was and he did kick out of the pin. It’s that stunning almost “never say die” attitude that has really attracted the fans to The Rated X Supers- Wait a minute! Shut Down!
As Valentine advances upon a kneeling Brown once again, Hutton reacts with almost catlike reflexes that he would have most assuredly learned from past training experience with Johnny Valentine. Reaching up and wrapping his hands around the left arm of The Greaser, Brown pulls Valentine quickly to the canvas as he catches Johnny by surprise. Quickly reversing the left arm, Hutton pulls the arm back around the throat of his adversary as he looks to pin Valentine to the canvas with the submission maneuver he’d helped created. Being as such however, The Blast from the Past finds weakness in Hutton’s hastily applied finishing submission hold in the form of weak placement of his right leg and begins to quickly fight out of the hold. With The Rated X Messiah locked perfectly around his throat and upper body, Valentine puts his strength on display as he pulls Hutton off the canvas and plants him into the closest turnbuckle back first.
Mark Sanction: I don’t really care what you have to say now, that was definitely fear in the eyes of Johnny Valentine as soon as Hutton tried to lock in Shut Down. He knew he only had one chance to escape.
J. Pain: No way Mark, it was a sudden surge of tactical adrenaline. That’s all it was, I’m telling you!
Anger flourishing up within The Blast from the Past at nearly being forced into a submission move he’d created, Valentine recovers quickly and charges in at his opponent without heeding to a possible counterattack. Brown delivers as well, thrust his elbow out once again and catching Valentine under the jaw, The Greaser stumbling backward as Hutton jumps to the second rope. As Valentine looks back toward the corner, he finds Brown already in mid flight and has no chance to evade the oncoming attack as The Rated X Superstar spins around, connecting with a Diving European Uppercut that sends Johnny to the canvas. A “sudden surge of tactical adrenaline” suddenly surging through The Rated X Messiah, Brown is on his feet in an instant with his arms out wide. Hutton was calling for the end now.
Mark Sanction: Just listen to these fans as Hutton gets fired up! The whole building just fills up with a whole new level of intensity as Hutton looks for Blacklight!
Valentine clutches his jaw as he rises, unaware of the fate that awaits him until it is simply too late; Hutton overhooking each one of The Greaser’s arms and spinning around one hundred and eighty degrees. But before Hutton can drop to the canvas for what could be a match sealing Blacklight, Valentine manages to pull his arms free and shoves The Rated X Superstar as hard as he can toward a cage wall.
J. Pain: HA! Johnny reverses it and now Hutton is going to eat cage wa- Oh crap!
Managing to stop himself just short of indeed eating the cage wall once again, Hutton spins just in time to see Valentine charging toward him. The teachings he’d received from his current foe from long ago about knowing how to time your movements is key as Brown spins away just in time, shoving The Greaser instead forward and leaving Johnny nowhere to go but into the wall of the devastating Steel Cage. Valentine stumbles backward as a trickle of blood begins to stream down his face, Johnny backpedaling uncertainly into The Rated X Messiah himself. Looking dazed back at his opponent, Valentine grits his teeth as Hutton’s knee finds his ribcage and doubles him over; The Rated X Superstar locking him a pumphandle position.
J. Pain: That pumphandle position… Training from Lion Merteuil… Oh no, Johnny!!!
Stunning the capacity crowd filling the United Center, Hutton hoists Valentine off the canvas and up onto his right shoulder for a single moment. It’s on of those flashbulb moments as The Rated X Superstar takes a single step forward and drops his greatest foe, Johnny Valentine, to the canvas with an all too familiar Pumphandle Powerbomb!
Mark Sanction: Chapter 11! I knew Hutton had something he would hold back for Revenge, and I never thought it would be Chapter 11! The cover! This is it!
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!

Slamming his hand to the canvas for a third time, XWA Senior Official Thomas J Tickles turns quickly to the timekeeper to call for the final bell of both this contest and XWA Revenge. The crowd erupts in a chorus of celebration as “Broken Dreams” by Shaman’s Harvest attempts to penetrate their cheers, all this signifying Hutton Brown claiming the victory in Revenge’s Main Event. Within the cage-encased ring, Brown rolls off of Johnny Valentine while his left hand moves quickly to his back; the effects of the Victory Road against the steel cage not easily forgotten even in victory.
Keri Thames: Ladies and Gentlemen here is your winner; The Rated X Superstar, Hutton Brown!
Mark Sanction: Very few people thought he could do it John. Hell, even you yourself had no confidence that Brown could overcome Johnny Valentine here tonight!
J. Pain: Hutton Brown just continues to fight on, refusing to give up at every turn. And to top that off, he’s ruining my reputation for knowing the outcome of matches beforehand!
Tickles’ assists The Rated X Messiah slowly to his feet, Brown’s left hand remaining against his still wounded lower back as he climbs to a vertical base. Finally managing to stand tall, Hutton allows the official to hoist his right arm into the air; Brown pulling his left arm up just long enough to stand in triumph before returning it to his back. Releasing the arm of the victor, Thomas steps away from Hutton to check on the status of Johnny Valentine as Roxy Zuuko enters the ring and rushes to her man.
J. Pain: Honestly Mark, I’m still astonished by how this match came to an end. I honestly believed that Hutton was full of hot air when he claimed to have a whole new arsenal of moves at his disposal.
Mark Sanction: Given the men that Hutton listed as those who had trained him, how could you ever doubt the near endless list of maneuvers Brown has at his disposal? I could hardly say I was surprised to see Brown utilize Chapter 11 to put Valentine away, though I was amazed none the less.
Valentine slams his fist against the canvas as Thomas and Roxy check to see if he’s alright, this only seeming to infuriate Johnny further. Not only was his loss an embarrassment in itself to The Blast from the Past but he didn’t need their sympathy right now. Instead, Valentine looks past them to his greatest rival and is stunned by what he sees. The Rated X Superstar standing over him, his arm extended to The Greaser in friendship and forgiveness.
Mark Sanction: My god! After everything that has transpired these past two months and yet Hutton holds his hand out to Valentine once the smoke has cleared?! Can he really be able to forgive Johnny after all that he’s done?
The moment seems to perhaps slow time down, tension hanging in the air as Brown holds out a hand to the man he’d just ended a great war with, extending a hand of perhaps forgiveness and friendship. Even if he is indeed willing to forgive and forget, Hutton Brown isn’t left with much input on the part of Johnny Valentine as The Blast from the Past rolls away from him; Valentine sliding out of the ring with Zuuko quickly in toe. The Rated X Messiah remains with his hand outstretched for many long moments after Johnny makes his leave, Hutton starring up at Valentine as he goes will shifting his outstretched hand to his back. A look of disappointment shows upon the face of tonight’s victor as Johnny Valentine stares him down his entire trip up the ramp, The Greaser only breaking eye contact as he passes behind the curtain.
J. Pain: What I have to wonder is where does Hutton Brown go from here? Other than perhaps Rose, Hutton has the greatest momentum behind him right now as we look forward.
Mark Sanction: We currently don’t have a number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship John, and you have to believe that Hutton may be close if not the top of the list. And just look at him now…
Turning away from the ramp after Valentine leaves; The Rated X Superstar turns to the far corner and begins to climb, not stopping at the top of the turnbuckle however. Continuing to ascend higher, Brown climbs the corner of the steel cage straight to the top and pulls himself carefully up to his feet on the top of the steel cage. It is here that Hutton stands nearly atop the XWA world, holding both his hands high into the air in victory as the fans continue to cheer and chant his name. As the XWA logo appears at the bottom of the screen, Hutton brings his arms down to his waist and runs them outward. The Rated X Superstar was declaring his hunger for gold.
Mark Sanction: Ladies and Gentlemen, we could definitely be looking at the possibility of Hutton vs. Rose in the near future for the World Heavyweight Championship! The two greatest stars in XWA colliding for the most coveted prize in all the XWA; man, what a treat that would be!
J. Pain: We’re just going to have to see which direction Tempest decides to take the company in Mark. Sadly though, we’re out of time. So for Mark Sanction, I’m John Pain; this has been XWA Revenge!

OOC: Yeah, triple posting. Eh...
So wow, at the buzzer...
I'm going to go ahead and apologize for the length of my match right now. I had a lot more planned but between medical issues I've had all week, dealing with my insurance companies (yes, companies, plural), and trying to find a new car; it's just been a hectic week.
So sadly, I typed up this semi-decent PPV match post in the last four hours and nothing more; though I think I feel asleep between 10-ish to 10:45-ish. I hope that everyone at least enjoys it.

On the button indeed 'Preciate it, man. I'll get to reading it later but first, WINNER: Hutton Brown. There's no voting to do, but I would encourage everyone to leave feedback. People still busted their balls to get their matches in and deserve encouragement and criticism. S'all about helping each other
