Actually strike my earlier suggestion, after finding out they beat Man City 2-1 and Spurs 2-1 I am going with the Red Bull Arena as the choice for a event since the New York Red Bulls are like my second team. Also HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA as if the Red Bulls beat Man City Kandji is the man get in boys! Firstly, Spurs beat New York 2-1. And as for beating City 2-1, it's nothing to get overly hyped over. 1) We were playing a relatively youthful/reserve team. Hart (Taylor 46), Onuoha, Boyata (Lescott 63), Mee (Toure 63), Bridge (Bellamy 82), Tutte, Kay (Zabaleta 81), Ireland (Cunningham 46), Tchuimeni-Nimely, Jo (A. Johnson 63), Adebayor. 2) It's a pre-season friendly, they're far from important. Let's see how we do when we have a full strength side and are actually competing for things. 3) We're not the only team to lose to supposedly 'weaker' opposition. Manchester United lost 2-1 to Kansas City Wizards. Liverpool lost 1-0 to Kaiserslauten. West Ham lost 4-2 to Burton Albion. Newcastle lost 2-1 to Norwich. Chelsea 3-1 to Ajax. Liverpool drew 0-0 with Grasshopper. Blackburn lost 3-0 to Preston... I could go on and on and on. But in the end, we aren't the only team.

Firstly, Spurs beat New York 2-1. Just noticed that on the red bulls site, they just wrote it in a bit of a tricky way to make the fans think they won but oh well. You can't blame for for feeling good for my team though, the sad thing is i would be less impressed if wolves had done it because I honestly never thought the bulls could pull it out

I think people underestimate the MLS teams. Nearly all of them could play very well in Europe. Personally, I think New York could achieve a mid table Premier League finish.

I'm not sure I would go that far, they have never actually won anything in the states, but then saying that they team that have at the moment could definitely do well in the Championship, they would more than likely get savaged in the prem, even a side like LA Galaxy would struggle in the prem and they are out and out the best MLS team

Then again, I do have high thoughts of the MLS players.
I don't know about L.A either. They always seem to choke at the last hurdle. Historically, they've done quite well. Not to the heights of D.C United, but they're historically the 2nd best team. The great thing about the MLS is that it's so open, each year something different happens. I mean, look at Toronto, they've came in recently and are currently 3rd.

I'd like to get a yank opinion on these teams, how do the Americans and Canadians amongst up feel about your 'soccer' league?

Stop with the excuses, if you want to be a big team you need to act like a big team. If Mancini plays the reserve players he thinks they are good enough. United got beat, our kids are good just not good enough yet, you don't here us making excuses. Noisy Neighbours
