The BIGGEST tournament in the world begins. Are you all excited.
No Canucks but the American's have a strong team and should progress from the group stages into knock out stages... First game is against England though. 7:30pm GMY tomorrow night.

Count me excited. The very fact that America even has the slightest chance to do well in this has me stoked. I played soccer/football for seven years when I was younger and they were some of the best years of my life, sport-wise.

It's funny how North American sports World Championships... don't include the rest of the world.

I think baseball is the only league that sort of refers to the team winning as world champs...no Canada or Scotland, so gotta root for Holland as thats where my grandma is from...also cheer for England as long as they don't play Holland

Holland are always a favourite of peoples, good football and generally likeable team... Although not Robben, I don't like him

nah just Stanley Cup champions....there are other leagues in europe just not as big as the NHL

And, at the 72:00 min mark, its still ENG 1 / USA 1.
The Brits definitely have the better players on paper, but the US is playing better as a team thus far.
