There's a few people here who like Dr Who.
The BBC have made a new series of Sherlock Holmes set in modern day London. It is very very good! It's slightly like the movie with Robert DJ, but the modernness is very refreshing, it's also quite cool because I live here and recognise most of the places!

AND...its not playing in the States, mate. Not even on any of the internet sites that carry TV shows. *sigh* Sucks, because I'm a HUGE Sherlock Holmes fan...the books, not the movie. I've all of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's tales of Dr. Watson and Sherlock. Good stuff.

I've been watching it too. It's brilliant and so well written which is surprising, given the premise cause usually things like that (old story set in modern world) are flops or just not very good.
I like in the first episode Sherlock's sending the 'Wrong!' texts around during a press confrence when the police were getting the details wrong. Just great that he has such presence in a scene and doesn't need to appear.

Temps, I'm trying to find you a UK proxy to log into iPlayer with. It's definitely worth the effort to watch the show.
Jack, yeah, that was really clever! I like the special effects showing the inner workings of his brain thinking.

Thanks. I'd really appreciate it, Angy. Its bad enough that our Dr. Who runs like, four or five weeks behind yours...but no Sherlock, too? Bah. You guys really DO hate us here in the Colonies, eh?
