The lights go down as the strange noises from the start of AFI's Misera Cantare begin. Soon the drum beat kicks in and fire rises from the stage.Love, your hate, Your Faith Lost, You, are now, One of us.At that moment, a spotlight catches the entrance stage and three sillouettes are visable through the fire, two male, one female. The spotlight follows the figures who, once they decend down the ramp, are now revealed to be Diamond Jack Sabbath, Raine and Amy Taylor. They mean business (well, the men do) so they immidiately without hesitation jump into the ring. KERI THAMES: Ladies and gentlemen, introducing at this time; being accompanied by Amy Taylor. At a combined weight of 456 pounds...The Neeeeeeww Leeeeeeggiiiooonnn!!! Sabbath grabs a microphone as he slides ito the ring. He looks around the crowd like a king about to address his subjects, a sniveling, nasty, grin on his face.SANCTION: Oh great, I guess this means we're gonna have to sit through another one of Sabbath's little rants. PAIN: Another one of Sabbath's little rants in Australia, Mark. Crikey! JACK: So...G'day my ever-abiding Wallaby-loving Legionites! Cheap heel heat. Jack smiles as the boos flood his ears. Raine just stands by, quitely observing the scene.JACK: Tonight you people are gonna see exactly why we are the future of this business. We are going to face the sons of a man we have had previous history with; the Wet Dog. Raine whispers in his ear. DJS nods his head.JACK: You'll have to excuse me, it was 'Mad Dog'. But in any case, the Legion has some unfinished business with 'the Dawg', and while we can't exactly get our hands on the man himself, we've got the next best thing planned cause we're taking the Hounds from Hell straight to the dogpound! DJS takes his jacket off and dumps it on Amy. She disgruntedly takes the jacket to the outside with her as "13"- MadDog's own theme starts with it's pumping heart intro. Sure enough, Mutt and Mongrel appear through the curtain followed by a sizable pop. The powerful looking Hounds from Hell march down the ramp. KERI THAMES: And their opponents, being accompanied by the Mad Dog, at a combined weight of 586 pounds; The Hounds. From. Heeeeeelllllllll!!!!!!! SANCTION: Well the Hounds From Hell have arrived. Oh look theres MadDog as well. Why am I not surprised he'd get involved too? PAIN: Must say, Mutt and Mongrel...two vicious looking men right there. Sabbath and Raine may have their hands full in this one. The Hounds reach the ring and waste no time in getting ready for the match. MadDog wants them to win this shit, and they're gonna do it! go to their corner and remove thier shoulderpads as MadDog gives them some more pre match prep-talk. In contrast to this Raine and Sabbath just stand in the opposite corner waiting, Sabbath leaning on the turnbuckle watching them as MadDog fleeses his boys with words of wisdom. Jack cartoonishly yawns and makes a 'looking at his watch gesture', earning the laugher to certain crowd members, mostly the internet fans cause they know they can make an animated gif of it and put it on a forum at some point. Eventually, MadDog pats both Mutt and Mongrel on the back and then hops out the ring. Amy, on the other side makes sure to stay there and not get anywhere near MadDog. Sabbath has a few short words with Raine who opts not to reply, as is usually the case. He gets out the ring and stands on the apron as the bell rings.SANCTION: Oh crap. I guess this means Raine is the legal man then? PAIN: 'Fraid so. This guy is brutal and it's probably worth mentioning that this is his first real match with us here in the XWA. Ball's in his court now... Certainly is. Mutt gets out of the ring and onto the apron, leaving Mongrel to deal with Raine. Mongrel is making a big show of getting ready, cracking his neck into position and generally warming up for the match while Raine just stands there; patient, unquestioning, ready as anything. Eventually Mongrel claps his hands together and shuffles around the ring with a large, audiable scream of 'come on!'. Yeah! Come on! He's ready! He's gonna kick Raine's arse and he knows it! He believe it! He's too awesome not to, right? Raine begins to bounce around the ring to in that way that wrestlers do at the beginning of a match until eventually the two jump in at centre of the ring with a tie-up. Mongrel uses this tie-up to try and push Raine, to back him into a corner and work on him from there. Is it gonna work? Is it fuck. Raine's too smart for that and can see it coming a mile off. He sticks his leg behind Mongrel's very very swiftly and pushes Mongrel backwards, thus tripping Mongrel up with a Russian leg sweep. Both men are down however Raine is not flat on his back like Mongrel, he is on his knees. Mongrel is not on his back for long though as Raine flips the offspring of MadDog over like a pancake and quickly gets to work applying a crossface-like manoeuvre. Whatever it is it's causing Mongrel to scream in pain.PAIN: Nice technique being shown by Raine here! SANCTION: Brutal technique you mean. PAIN: In this business, brutal is nice, Mark. MadDog's shouting at the top of his voice, urging Mongrel to somehow break the hold. Mongrel, with all his might, all his damn energy and all his strength crawls using the tiny, tiny , tiny creases in the mat to the nearest rope. Once he weasels his way over there, he slaps his hand on the rope and holds on for dear life. The ref watches it and the moment his hand touches the rope he jumps in and attempts to encourage Raine to break the hold. Yeah, cause that'll work. He couldn't give a monkey's left testicle. He's still pulling on that hold, almost as if he's enjoying it, in fact...yeah. He's enjoying it. The ref certainly isn't though as he begns to count to five, starting at one (well, obviously). When the ref reaches four, Sabbath leans over and shouts 'release!', to which Raine obediently does getting to his feet, but not before he stomps the knackered out Mongrel in the head, leaving the one-half of the Hounds of Hell almost completely out of it. PAIN: No nice way of putting it, we're only a few minutes into the match and already Mongrel looks fucked. SANCTION: Well it seems Raine's looking to tag in DJS. Perhaps this could turn things around? PAIN: Highly inlikely at this point unless he himself can get a tag. DJS beckon's Raine over to him and holds his hand out, eagerly. He loves a good meal that's been readily prepared does Sabbath and an opponent that's been laid out for him is almost as good. Raine tags DJS in, the ref does that clappy-thing and the Crown Jewel himself is now the legal man. He jumps in the ring and circles Mongrel like a wild cat. A few seconds later, at his leisure he jumps in and goes in for the kill, dragging Mongrel to his feet forcefully. He allows Mongrel a few seconds to get himself back together. Aww, how awfully considerate of him. Uh..not really. Diamond Jack Sabbath has not been known to do considerate, it doesn't register with him so from the moment it looks like Mongrel has recovered and might, just might be able to get back into this match --SMASH!-- A big boot from Sabbath sends him to the mat once again and back where he started. Mutt's growing inpatient and extends his hand for Mongrel for a hot tag. Fat chance it'll happen due to the fact Mongrel is over on the other side of the ring. Sabbath turns around to see Mutt desperately holding his hand out for a tag. Sabbath glances at him as Mutt glances back and shrugs in an extremely animated way then carries on with the assault. This angers Mutt who decides 'ah fuck it!, I'm goin' in there!' to which he does. He bounces through the ropes and storms across the ring only to be stopped when he is a couple of inches away from Sabbath by the ref, who escorts Mutt back to his corner.PAIN: That's what he gets for bending the rules. Idiot. SANCTION: Yeah, cause Sabbath would never have done that himself in such a position, Pain. Meanwhile Sabbath has lifted Mongrel onto an angle where he is sitting up. After taking a couple of seconds to slap Mongrel on the back of the head a couple of times, he decides that Mongrel not fighting back is no longer fun. He wants a challenge and Mongrel's non-movement is boring him to bits. He grabs Mongrel by the back of the neck and by the wrist and drags the guy across to Mutt's corner, then like a puppeteer he uses the wrist of Mongrel to slap against Mutt's hand, thus making the tag. The ref does the clappy-thing again and the tag has been made. Mutt just stands there though, a little confused. MadDog stands behind him with his arms crossed. MADDOG (growling): Well get in there then! Kick his ass!! Sabbath stands back and allows Mutt to uneasily get into the ring. He tosses Mongrel over the top of the rope. Now the ring belongs to them and not too late after, they are engaged in a tie-up. However, if this was a point where Jack wanted to capitalise he is obviously not as smart as he makes himself out to be-forgetting his weakness in the technical side of wrestling. Mutt breaks the tie-up and wraps his forearms around Jack's head therefore locking in a textbook headlock. Jack struggles around the ring dragging Mutt with him. He's in deep shit now. He grabs the nearest rope out of desperation and ramms his head backwards and forwards in an attempt the shake Mutt off. It's not working. Ah well, plan B. He digs his hand in between his head and Mutt's forearm and separates the two from contact but in the process grabbing Mutt's arm and pulling it backwards. He is now out of the headlock and has his hold on Mutt's arm, wrenching it with an armdrag. And with an arm drag comes, well, the drag. He drags Mutt over to the nearest turnbuckle and quick as anything lets go of the armdrag and puts one arm under Mutt's arm then flips Mutt in the air and causing the Hound to hit has back on the turnbuckle! The Aussie fans corrispond with an 'oooohhhh!!!' as Mutt falls to the ground in pain. SANCTION: Oh my God! Sabbath just hip tossed Mutt into a turnbuckle! PAIN: Love it!! Sabbath stares around expecting some kind of agknowledgement as the fans boo and drops to his knees and goes for a pin. Similarly the ref drops too and makes the count:
ONE...
TWO...
...MADDOG!!!
Indeed. MadDog has jumped up on the apron and interrupted the count, calling ref over to him and arguing his case, stating it was an illigal move. Sabbath sits up slowly, an irritated expression on his face. The fans boo as MadDog continues arguing. Jack, a little annoyed, turns to Raine and makes one small head movement in MadDog's direction. Raine knows exactly what this means and jumps down off the apron and under the ring. A few seconds later on the other side, we see MadDog still arguing with the ref.MADDOG: You can't threaten me with anything I have a lawyer! I'm Lucifer McMahon dammit! I own you! I own you all! SANCTION: Looks like MadDog inherits his father's inability to co-operate. PAIN: I wouldn't worry about the match if I were him and I'd concentrate on the fact Raine has just popped up behind him. What he said. MadDog's been standing on the apron which means he was able to go through the ringskirt below him without MadDog batting an eyelid. He's there long though, as he grabs MadDog by the leg and drags the big man down to his level. He ain't done yet though as he skuttles away back under the ring and drags MadDog with him! The ref scratches his head. WTF just happened? Oh well, never mind Raine's not the legal man so it's nothing for him to worry about. He turns back around to see that Sabbath has been stood waiting with the still downed Mutt. He shrugs and drags Mutt back to his feet. Mutt however ain't having it. He punches DJS in the gut on the way up, causing the Crown Jewel to cover his gut in pain. Mutt decides to capitalise and grabs Sabbath by the neck. He lifts Sabbath up in the air......aaaand back down again onto the mat. SANCTION: Choke Collar Slam! Mutt has downed Diamond Jack Sabbath with the Choke Collar Slam! PAIN: Wait where's Mongrel going? To the top rope is where he's going. He climbs to the top rope and yells something inaudiable as most wrestlers do. The fans still cheer though. He points to the downed DJS as Mutt steps back. Jack is down but he ain't out though and hits the back of his leg on the mat three times, almost like a signal. As quick as a flash Raine pops out from under the ring and quickly pushes Mongrel off to the side, Mongrel hitting the barricade in the process. Mutt runs over quickly to check on his partner but just as he reaches the ropes, Jack has had time to get back to his feet. He grabs Mutt by the back of the neck and tosses the remaining son of MadDog into the middle of the ring. He kicks Mutt in the gut (hurr, that rhymes. Sorry, I'll continue.) and sets him up for his favourite move in the history of the world, ever. After lifting Mutt onto his shoulders......he ain't there for long. SANCTION: Diamond's Wrath! Diamond's Wrath! PAIN: Look's like Raine wants to fly now! Maybe he'll be a bit more successful than Mongrel. SANCTION: Hopefully. Oh he will be. Raine is accurate, calculating and relentless. He jumps off the top rope and performs perhaps the most brutal top-rope move ever seen in the XWA on Mutt...PAIN: Holy shit! SANCTION: I agree! I believe he calls that the Hailstorm! PAIN: And what a storm it is! Raine stands emotionless and silent. It's okay, cause Jack's grinning on his behalf as he quickly hooks the cover...
ONE...
TWO...
..THREE!The bell rings as 'Misera Cantare' starts again. The ref raises Sabbath's and and Raine's as well, however Raine pulls away quite quickly, as he's just noticed something. While Jack continues to celebrate in the ring Raine jumps out of it, noticing that MadDog has crawled out from under the ring. Whatever Raine did to him, he is battered and bruised. Lucifer crawls over to the steel step and places his head on it, perhaps to rest it or something. Oh bad move. Oh God, he's never made a move so bad. What he fails to realise is that Raine is on his way and he has just saved the mysterious Legion member the job of setting up the move. Raine's pace becomes quicker and quicker as he knows what he has planned. He likes what he has planned, he's looking foward to it! He bounces up onto the step as soon as he gets there and brutal as anything......MadDog flops onto the floor, almost out cold. Is Raine done though? Like hell. He drags MadDog's body to him and covers it like a spider covers a fly in his web:MadDog screams in pain as the bell rings frantically. Yeah cause a little ringing bell is gonna stop someone so unhinged as Raine. Referees and arena security are flooding the scene trying to get Raine to release the hold, some trying to pull the two apart but to no avail. SANCTION: Oh come on! Somebody stop this! PAIN: Why don't you go over there then? SANCTION: Why me? You're the one who was the first ever XWA champion! PAIN: I'm going nowhere near that guy and by the looks of it, neither are his team mates. So what do Sabbath and Amy do about it? Nothing at all, in fact they're on their way up the ramp and to the back, passing the refs and security running past them. The situation down at ringside is becoming more and more dire as the Hounds from Hell are also trying to get Raine to release MadDog. The scene cuts quickly to an advert break.[CUT TO COMMERCIAL FOR Randy Savage's Macho Nachos- Oooh yeeaahh! Dig It!) (OOC: Up early due to the fact my bands got a gig later and I won't have time)

I will never be impressed with New Legion. I beat the original Legion, so (assuming I have to) I'll beat the New Legion.
I am however, impressed with your work Jack. It continues to improve each and every week without question.
As for the Hounds from Hell. They... Well, when they actually decide to post a match; I'll actually be able to leave an opinion.

Aha! Y'see there's your flaw. New Legion was not constructed to impress, it was constructed to dismantle the company piece by piece But seriously thanks for the positive feedback. I kinda wrote it was a squash match to help put Raine over cause I wasn't really expecting the Hounds to show somehow.

Brilliant stuff Jack. Perfect portrayal of Raine, and even adding something I never saw Raine doing in the pull under the ring, which I enjoyed. Hutton's right, each week you're doing better and better! You know fine well I'm a huge fan of yours.
